MULTI-FAMILY CONSTRUCTION BOON

We have increased our design of multi-family residential by 33% this first quarter. It is a sign of the times that mult-family dwellings are in high demand. Mariano Engineering is happy to part of this growth. Nearly 17,000 units in condo or aparment buildings are slated to be built in Los Angeles and Orange County. A new high according to the Census Bureau.

WE ARE HERE TO DESIGN YOUR EXISTING PROJECT!

Recently we designed an office and conference room wing using variable refrigerant flow (VRF) technology. It represents a growing trend in multi-zone applications to vary distribute refrigerant, rather than water or steam to multiple zones. VRF systems are efficient, flexible, and almost entirely ductless which makes them a great application in retrofitting existing structures where space may be lacking.

MARIANO ENGINEERING DESIGNED THE WORLD'S FIRST FLOATING GREEN BUILDING - CERTIFIED LEED GOLD

Cottonwood Cove Resort and Marina received the prestigious certification of LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold. The marina's operations offices is made of recycled green materials, sustainable modular construction and a state-of-the-art energy efficient HVAC system. Mariano Engineering also interpreted low energy electrical, and environmentally responsible plumbing fixtures into the design.

For commercial buildings to earn LEED certification, the project must satisfy al LEED prerequisites and earn a minimum 40 points on a 110-point LEED rating system scale.

Mariano Engineering has made history in designing the world's first floating green building to be certified LEED Gold, which demonstrates our commitment in innovation, environmental stewardship and being a leader for social responsibility.
